ジョナサン・ヤフェ。東京にある、KAISインタナショナルスクールの創立者、校長。KAISは、生徒の創造性を助けることに重きをおいて、大変ユニークな学校である。
米国カルフォルニア州生まれ。科学と文学、両方の分やに興味があり、米国屈指の大学として有名なカルフォルニア大学バークレイ校（UCバークレイ）で、認知神経科学と認知教育学を学ぶ。
詩の本を出版しており、UCバークレイのポエトリー・スラム（詩の朗読競技）を創設し、数々のポエトリーコンペティションで入賞している。
KAISを開校する以前は、UCバークレイおよび、コロンビアのUPTC大学で「詩」を教えたり、直近では、帰国子女アカデミーのコーディネーターを務めた。
また、4ヶ国語を操り、60カ国以上の国々を巡っている。
Jonathan Yaffe is the founder and principal of KAIS International School, a creative and intensive boutique international school in Tokyo. He was raised in California, where his interests bridged both literature and science. He is a graduate of one of the top universities in the U.S., the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Cognitive Neuroscience and Cognitive Education. Mr. Yaffe is also a published poet, founded the UC Berkeley Poetry Slam, and has competed in many international poetry competitions. Prior to his role of principal at KAIS International School, he taught poetry at UC Berkeley in California and UPTC University in Colombia, and was most recently the Academic Coordinator at Kikokushijo Academy. He speaks four languages and has been to over sixty countries.
